Ms. Jones is a citizen of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the author of “Let’s Go Eeling”, a story about a young boy and his family who travel to Willamette Falls to harvest eel. Participants will learn some Chinuk Wawa through the story. Chinuk Wawa is one of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde’s most recently used Grand Ronde languages.
