As of today, we are no longer requiring PCP or MH referrals. Parents (and patients over 14) can now self-refer and we will take care of getting the documentation from PCP and MH after their first appointment.

We have been working with the Oregon Health Authority and our Local Health Authority to begin the “Test to Stay” program in the month of January. The program will allow students who test negative after exposure to remain at school. This has the potential to drastically reduce the amount of quarantines for individuals and classrooms.

Children grades 1st-7th, join the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon for Winter Wonderland and Ringing in the New Year camps.

The Coos Bay school board is asking for assistance in selecting the school district’s next superintendent.

Dates are the sweet, chewy fruit of the date palm tree. Dates are a good source of B vitamins, including thiamin, niacin, and beta-carotene and a small amount of vitamin C.

As we have been able to successfully manage the impact cases so far, we will
continue with in‐person learning in all our schools. Cases in our community appear to be on the decline. We hope to see this trend continue moving forward.
